Unlike most wines, Port is only declared a vintage in the finest years — typically three or four in a decade — when the houses bottle an unblended wine from a single harvest to age for decades. The table below rates every declared year from 1908 to 2024, drawn from the tiers of the wines the houses actually released. A year is marked Universal when five or more houses declared, Limited when only a few did, and Single-quinta only in off years when houses skipped the general declaration but still bottled a single-estate wine.
